SCI Company Is

An Egyptian joint stock company, established on October 10, 1979, following the provisions of Law No. 159 of 1981 and Law No. 10 of 1981. Being the first private sector insurance company in Egypt, established under the umbrella of Arab Contractors and the Suez Canal Authority.

Since the establishment of the Suez Canal Insurance Company in the Egyptian market, it has been achieving the optimal model and comprehensive experience in providing distinguished insurance services for national projects, private sector projects, investments, and others.

Suez Canal Insurance Company’s branches extend to more than 40 branches and offices.

Suez Canal Company is one of only two companies in Egypt that have been awarded a credit rating from rating agency AM Best .
AM Best has given the company a fair financial strength rating (-B) and a long-term credit rating of the issuer (-BB) of Suez Canal Insurance Company, as of June 2, 2021.

AM Best is a global credit rating agency, news publisher, and data analytics provider specializing in the insurance industry.

SCI Awards

Suez Canal Insurance Company was also awarded the Best Insurance Company in Egypt according to the Finance & Banking Global Award 2021.
